MAYC Orchestra and Singers

The MAYC Orchestra and Singers is made up of young people from around the country aged between 13 and 25. There are about 100 current members and players in the orchestra are of grade 8 standard. The Orchestra and Singers have been an important part of MAYC for a great number of years.

The MAYC Orchestra and Singers have a wide repertoire including music from major film score, TV themes, musical, classics, chart hits, choral works and contemporary and traditional gospel music.

The Orchestra and Singers have performed at a wide range of concert venues across the country and have been on tour to Ireland as well as various performances on television and radio. The Orchestra and Singers have led music in the past at London Weekend in the Royal Albert Hall and then in other large concert venues across the country.
